Nine Months

How are you going to be 1 in just 3 short months
9 month ism's
-You have both of your front bottom teeth
-You love to play patty cake
-You are always smiling and laughing
-Brysen makes you laugh and you love him so much
-Your nickname is still Monkey thanks to your big bro
-Your rolling around everywhere and still won't crawl, Lazy baby
-You love to dance and put your hands in the air
-You can clap
-You love food so much and think that you need to eat whatever food you see in your sight
-Sleeping the same, except you cut out your cat nap at night
-Such a Mama's boy, you always want your mom
-You love to splash in the bath and pool
-Loves to walk around in his walker
-You love shoving the little puffs in your mouth
-He makes the funniest noises now and can spit with his mouth well tongue, he has been trying for months to do that
-Loves to blow on peoples skin, Kyle calls its Zurburts
Your such a joy to have in our life and you are the best baby so calm and relaxed and so easy going! Your the biggest blessing and the easiest little guy! Love you Cayden Nicholas ♥

Compton Family

8 months

Our little man turned 8 months on May 24th
8 month-ism's
-He loves all food, he does this little laugh of excitement every time you feed him any food! He thinks he needs to eat any food that is around him even if he isn't allowed to have it
-Loves chocolate, he will freak out if you don't give him any
-He can stand on his own pretty well
-Started sucking on his bottom lip, its the funniest thing

-shakes his head no
-He is rolling all around, finally got up on his hands and knees
-He is very relaxed and calm baby
-Still the happiest and most smiley baby  I have ever seen
-Still has the same nap and sleep schedule
-this kids loves his brother, it is the cutest thing, B sings to him and always talks to him and he smiles from ear to ear
-He has started to get a little attitude! If he sees something he wants he gets mad till he gets it little stinker
-Loves his walker
-Loves to play with all of his toys, he will grab each one play with it and then go to the next till he has played with every one of them
-Went to his first movie saw Epic
-Starting to learn how to wave and LOVES to play pattycake
-HATES loud noises
We sure love you Cayden your such a joy to have around each and everyday! We sure love both our cute boys :)

4 Year Anniversary Trip

Kyle and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary on May 15th! I can't believe its been 4 years and at the same time I feel like its been forever! I am so thankful to be married to my best friend, we both are still so in love and so happy together and our love grows stronger all the time! We have made the two most beautiful little boys together and can't wait to see what the rest of our forever has in store for us! Kyle got me a beautiful band to go with my wedding ring, I never wanted one till recently and he surprised me, I was so shocked! I love you babe, here is to eternity with you <3 
For our anniversary this year we decided to do something fun, and with our annual passes to Disneyland, what better way to spend our Anniversary then hanging out alone in the happiest place on earth! The day after our anniversary we headed to Cali and we stayed till Sat, my amazing mom watched the boys for us and made this trip possible for us so a HUGE thanks to her! When we got to cali we went straight to Disneyland and hung out till it closed, it was so fun and so odd not having a diaper bag and two kids and making sure we stopped and feed the baby and had our whole lives packed with us, we had NOTHING literally just ourselves it was so nice! Friday morning we went right when the park opened and hung out in both parks all day! I loved being able to ride what we wanted, things we don't always get to ride, and eating when we were hungry and where we wanted! I sure love my kids more then anything but alone time with my cute hubby was much needed! We had such a blast and loved every minute of our trip! Saturday we went to Huntington Beach and walked around and did a little shopping! It was an amazing little trip and I loved it just being me and Kyle! I love you babe Happy Anniversary :)

Disney On Ice

Last month we went to Disney on Ice Treasure Trove with my sister and her family and my Mom and Trent! It was so much fun and so adorable, my mom of course got the grand kids cute souvenirs! It reminded me of when I was a little girl and we always went every time they had one in Vegas! Brysen was so cute to watch, he LOVED it and was so entertained! If you would sing the songs or talk to him he would tell you to "be quiet" so funny! Love doing fun things like this with family :)

7 months

Our sweet C man turned 7 months on April 24th, he is still the happiest and most sweetest little guy!
 -he says dada all the time
-he has gotten louder when talking, he obviously thinks he needs to be heard with his brother around
-he loves to eat, he laughs or has a laugh of excitement before every spoonful of food
-he loves his big brother, he never stops smiling at him
-shakes his head no all the time
-learned how to fake cough, makes me laugh
-he HATES when people yell or are loud he starts crying instantly
-he loves his mama and is still a mamas boy
-still such a great sleeper and takes 2 long naps a day and one catnap
-he is sitting up so great
-loves to play with all of his toys
-he is weighing about 19.6lbs
-he is loving the pool
We love this little guy and he brightens our life so much! We love him and his brother so much! ❤

 

Fun the past Month

Easter weekend we headed up to Utah to see family and for my Grandma and Grandpa Laughters annual Easter Egg hunt they have every year! We stayed with my Grandma Abate, it was so nice to see family that we don't get to see very often and to talk and catch up with everybody! The boys had so much fun, B loved hunting Easter eggs and hitting the pinata! Cayden got a couple Easter eggs all by his self too! After the Easter egg hunt we went bowling, Kyle loves to bowl and B had so much fun! We had so much fun in Utah it was a quick but fun trip and we can't wait to head back up there this summer!

After Utah it was my birthday on April 5, man I am getting old, we went to sushi and then to Sugar Factory for dessert and walked the strip, it was so much fun! Kyle surprised me flowers and other things when he had gotten home from work, he rang the door bell and then hide! Love that man :) 

The night after my birthday we went down to Fremont Street to watch some of the Country artist sing, we saw Jana Kramer, who I LOVED from one tree hill that I used to watch every week, and Jake Owen! We had a great time but Fremont is just a little to crazy for me these days, to many people smoking and so many drunk people and the smell of nasty cigars 

On April 12th our sweet little Cayden had surgery, they couldn't do his circumcision when he was little cause he had a "hidden penis" so they had to fix that and they had to do a pubic anchoring! Needless to say it was a very hard day for me as the mom, when the nurses said we will take him now I started bawling and couldn't stop! I hated thinking my sweet boy was going under anesthesia at only 6 months old and I never have! They said it went great and he did amazing, its healing so well and its nice he has a "normal" unit now 

We are loving the weather here in Vegas, which means it is time to hit up the park all the time and man does B love it! We also had my cute grandparents come into town from Utah on my mom's side! We went to the Bellagio gardens, swam, BBQ, went to dinner, shopping and lots of other fun stuff! Its always great having family come visit!

this cute little boy is OBSESSED with stop signs, he will tell you and point out where every single one is! He cracks me up, he tells us the he is a stop sign lover! So of course when we were at Tivoli Village, there was a stop sign his size and he HAD to take a picture with it! Love my cutie

This past weekend we went to the PH pool with the Christensens and my mom, we swam for most of the day, we had so much fun hanging at the pool, that is another great thing about Vegas is it is finally pool weather and that is where we will spend most of our summer hanging in a pool (well hopefully) B is finally learning to swim with no floaty and he puts his head under and kicks and actually does a really good job!
