Christmas time and December Fun

This is my favorite month out of the whole year, I don't know what it is but the world seems to be a more magical and happier place! We had lots of fun and kept busy all month long, we got to see Santa more then once, B would ask us to go to the North Pole to see him! We went to opportunity village with my side of the family, we go every year now! Its so fun to just go walk around and look at everything and the kids sure love it! We also go to the Live Nativity they put on here in Vegas every year and it was very special this year because Cayden was baby Jesus one night! The night he was baby Jesus was also the only night that they had a professional photographer come and take pictures, which ended up in the LDS church news! How awesome is that, it was so neat and I love it! I have always loved the nativity since I was a little girl and looked forward to see it every year, so it was such a blessing and I was so touched they asked to use Cayden, my eyes were not dry that night at all when he laid in that manager and was baby Jesus! One weekend we went to the Bellagio to see how it was decorated for the Holidays and of course it was gorgeous and beautiful! Its amazing what they can do with flowers! We also took all the kids to see Santa! Christmas Eve we spent at my moms, we had dinner and opened a present, pj's of course, and also went to look at Christmas lights, it's family tradition! Christmas morning we had everyone over to our house and opened presents and made breakfast! B was so cute he would open each gift and say "for meeeee" it was the cutest thing ever, Cayden of course slept threw it,which was to be expected! We had such a great month and I am already waiting for it to be this time of year again! I hope everyone else enjoyed the Holiday season as much as we did :) Oh and the last picture is our Elf on a shelf Dash, he joined our family this year to watch the kids and report to Santa! 3 months

Can't believe this guy is 3 months already, at his last Dr. appointment he was 14.10 lbs and 23.5 inches, he is a chubby baby for sure and I love it!
Cayden at 3 months
-Sleeps from 8 to 8 or 9 to 7 and needs us to give him his bink a couple times
-He loves his swing
-Loves to lay under his baby Einstein, he smiles and giggles and hits his toys and is trying to grab them
-Still the happiest baby ever, he never stops smiling
-On Monday December 31st I noticed he is cutting his FIRST tooth, and you can see it, I can't believe how young he is getting his first tooth
-He loves to talk and tells big stories, he loves you to talk to him too
-he is chuckling, we still have not gotten a full on laugh yet
-He loves his mommy and is definitely a mommas boy, which I love
-He LOVES Brysen, he can just walk past him and he will just start to smile
-We finally have him on the schedule that I love where he eats at 8-12-4-8 and then goes to bed, well not quite everyday but we are getting there
-He still loves his sleep
-He is in 3-6 month clothes now
-this guy is such a happy go lucky guy
We sure love this little guy and he continues to be more of a blessing as each days passes, we are so grateful he is ours and to have him in our lives! 

2 months

Cayden was 2 months on November 24th
 At 2 months
-He is sleeping threw the night from 9-7, he has only been getting up once since he was 1 week old and after 4 weeks he was only up for maybe 20 mins between 3-5am! Such a good sleeper
-He eats every 4 hours during the day and eats around 5 to 6 ozs and sometimes more at night
-He is turning into such a talker, he loves to be talked to and he will tell you stories back
-He is so happy and so smiley ALL day, especially in the morning right when he wakes up
-He is such a chub and has the best cheeks ever
-He loves tummy time (his big brother HATED it)
-He is starting to notice and try to touch his toys
-When I am holding him he always has to have a fist full of my hair, I think it is a comfort thing for him
-Still such a great nurser
-He loves his mommy, I am his favorite person (not for long I am sure, so I def am cherishing that)
-Every year my mom gets ornaments for the grandkids and I had her get Cayden the stay puft marshmellow man cause that is what we call him and he looks like haha
-B's nickname for him is monkey
This little guy is such a great blessing to our family and I wish he would stop growing! He is such a sweet baby and such a great baby! We really are blessed and lucked out to have him! Love you Cayden Nicholas

Cayden's Blessing

Our sweet little Cayden was blessed by his daddy on November 18, 2012 in my mom's ward! It was such a sweet day! I am so thankful that my husband holds the priesthood and was able to bless this little guy! We had family come into town and we couldn't thank them more for coming it meant so much to us for them to share this special day with us! Cayden didn't cry or make a peep while Kyle blessed him (he seriously is the best baby) After the blessing we had everyone come over to our house for some brunch! Thank you to family and friends who came and to the men that helped bless Cayden :) we love you all and are so grateful for you all! I am a slacker and usually so good about getting more pictures this is all we took! I wanted one of the men in the circle, one with all our family, and friends and it was just kinda crazy and didn't happen! So thankful for my eternal family :)

Halloween Festivities

I love the holiday season, starting with Halloween in October to January 1 is my fav time of year! This year we had lots of fun we went to the pumpkin patch a bunch of times, B is obsessed with all things Halloween, every store we went to we had to see the scary Halloween stuff, every time we drove past the Pumpkin patch he got so excited! I can't even begin to tell you how much he LOVED Halloween! He keeps asking me where the pumpkin patch went and tells me that it needs to come back! We went trunk or treating at my moms church, we went to Gilcrease Orchard with the Christensens and picked out our own pumpkins, we carved and painted pumpkins with my family, we of course went trick or treating and had chili and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies at my moms on Halloween! We had such a fun time B was Batman of course (he loves him) and Cayden was a handsome devil! We had such a fun month and can't wait for more fun this holiday season!
