Fun the past Month

Easter weekend we headed up to Utah to see family and for my Grandma and Grandpa Laughters annual Easter Egg hunt they have every year! We stayed with my Grandma Abate, it was so nice to see family that we don't get to see very often and to talk and catch up with everybody! The boys had so much fun, B loved hunting Easter eggs and hitting the pinata! Cayden got a couple Easter eggs all by his self too! After the Easter egg hunt we went bowling, Kyle loves to bowl and B had so much fun! We had so much fun in Utah it was a quick but fun trip and we can't wait to head back up there this summer!

After Utah it was my birthday on April 5, man I am getting old, we went to sushi and then to Sugar Factory for dessert and walked the strip, it was so much fun! Kyle surprised me flowers and other things when he had gotten home from work, he rang the door bell and then hide! Love that man :) 

The night after my birthday we went down to Fremont Street to watch some of the Country artist sing, we saw Jana Kramer, who I LOVED from one tree hill that I used to watch every week, and Jake Owen! We had a great time but Fremont is just a little to crazy for me these days, to many people smoking and so many drunk people and the smell of nasty cigars 

On April 12th our sweet little Cayden had surgery, they couldn't do his circumcision when he was little cause he had a "hidden penis" so they had to fix that and they had to do a pubic anchoring! Needless to say it was a very hard day for me as the mom, when the nurses said we will take him now I started bawling and couldn't stop! I hated thinking my sweet boy was going under anesthesia at only 6 months old and I never have! They said it went great and he did amazing, its healing so well and its nice he has a "normal" unit now 

We are loving the weather here in Vegas, which means it is time to hit up the park all the time and man does B love it! We also had my cute grandparents come into town from Utah on my mom's side! We went to the Bellagio gardens, swam, BBQ, went to dinner, shopping and lots of other fun stuff! Its always great having family come visit!

this cute little boy is OBSESSED with stop signs, he will tell you and point out where every single one is! He cracks me up, he tells us the he is a stop sign lover! So of course when we were at Tivoli Village, there was a stop sign his size and he HAD to take a picture with it! Love my cutie

This past weekend we went to the PH pool with the Christensens and my mom, we swam for most of the day, we had so much fun hanging at the pool, that is another great thing about Vegas is it is finally pool weather and that is where we will spend most of our summer hanging in a pool (well hopefully) B is finally learning to swim with no floaty and he puts his head under and kicks and actually does a really good job! 

Happy 3rd Birthday B

Our baby is 3 years old today! We became parents 3 years ago and I brought this little man into the world! We had a birthday party for him last saturday and he had so much fun and did not stop smiling the whole time! We had family and friends come over and we had a phineas and ferb birthday party, B loves Perry the platypus, we had yummy mexican food, cake and ice cream! We also had a pinata which was fun but all the kids are still a little to little to understand! B got lots of awesome presents which he loves and plays with all of them all day!  He got lots of cute new clothes for summer too! Today on his actual birthday we surprised with with Batman ballons, when Kyle got home he opened more presents and then we went out to eat at Smashburger (he said he wanted McDonalds but I told him he could get a shake at Smash) then we came home and he had cake and we sang to him again! This little boy brings so much light into our lives and has shown us so much in the past 3 years! We are so thankful for him and so blessed to be his parents! We love you to the moon and back Brysen!

-He talks so amazing like a grown up, he always says please and thank you
-His favorite movies right now are Wreck it Ralph, Peter Pan, Monsters Inc
-On tv he loves phineas and ferb, mickey mouse, gaspard and lisa, word world, max and ruby
-He still take a 3 hour nap during the day
-He is obsessed with fireman sam and now wants to be a fireman when he grows up
-he has a temper on him
-he always tells us we are "the best eber" and "i love you to the moon and back"
-he calls people stinkers haha
-He yells at people in the car and tells them they are stupid ( he gets that for his parents)
-goes to bed at 8 and sleeps till 7 or 8
-Loves everything that has to do with cars and trucks and airplanes
-B loves cayden and plays with him and loves being a big  brother to his "monkey"
-very social he loves people and little kids his age or older
-he is such a little fish and loves to go swimming
-Loves talking baths and showers, he takes 2 a day most days
-LOVES the garbage truck and men
-he is always dancing
-he always says "WHATTTTTT" and "what the"
-He can be such a stinker and be mean but can turn around and be so sweet
This cute little guy cracks me up everyday and is always saying the funniest thing, it is never a dull moment being around B! Thank you for bringing so much joy and love into our life my sweet 3 year old :)

6 months

I can't believe Cayden is 6 months old, half a year old! His little life is flying by way to quick for my liking!
-at his check up he weighed 18.10lbs and is 26inches long, he is our chubs
-he can roll from his back to his tummy, but is a little lazy and won't always do it
-we started him on solids and he is eating veggies twice a day and I will start him on fruit this week, I decided to make all of the food this time around and he loves it, he tried store bought and hated it
-He has started saying dadadadada which Kyle of course loves
-He talks ALL the time and is very loud
-Still the happiest baby and never stops smiling
-He drools so much, he soaks his burp clothes
-he loves to chew on everything he can get in his mouth, especially his burp cloth
-teething, he has had a few teeth show but none have stayed out, one you can just see the white a little bit
-still a mama's boy
-sleeps from 8 to 8 and takes 2 long naps and one catnap at night
-He eats anywhere from 6-9ozs at 8, 12, 4, and 8
-He is obsessed with his feet and is always playing with them
-LOVES his big brother, Brysen can just look at him and he will laugh or smile
-he is our little monkey, that is what B calls him and it has stuck

Disney with family

Last weekend we headed to California with my Mom, Trent, Callie, and James! We had a great little trip and enjoyed our time with the family that we went with! We left Friday morning and came back late, late Sunday night! On Friday we ate at Chick fil A which is a must in this family (unless your Shana, she is odd) and then we went to Downtown Disney for awhile and then to Newport Beach and ate at the Rockin Baja Lobster, I love that place, its amazing! Saturday we got up super early and headed to the park right when it opened at 8am and we stayed all day till it closed at midnight but by the time we shopped and got done, it was after 12:30! It was a long day and we had such a great time! B was so cute he loves all the rides especially "stinky pirates" and Buzz Lightyear! He would probably just ride those all day if he could! Every ride he rode he would get off with the biggest smile and say "that was soooooo fun, I wanna ride another one" He was so good all day and finally crashed around 9:30 in his stroller talking to Callie! Cayden of course was so good, he is the best baby! He loves Disneyland already too and loves to look at all the stuff on the rides! I love going with family too, it always nice to have everyone with you and to enjoy the happiest place on earth with the people you love! Sunday Kyle and I took the kids in the park and did NOTHING it was so packed we saw Pluto and ate and left because it was to insane! We had such great trip but it went by way to quick, Thanks to my Mom and Trent for all they did! We are ready to go back again to Disneyland :)

This last picture of Cayden he is in the outfit "on Mickey Mouse" he had a blow out at about 9:30 at night and we couldn't find pajamas anywhere, between Kyle and I we went in to about 10 stores from California adventure to Disneyland! It was the same in every store " no we don't sell pjs that little, but this store does" finally I went to the baby care center were the lady who was working went out of her way to help us and had someone bring us that cute outfit ! She was so sweet and helped us so much and could tell how flustered I was! That def made my night! Thank heavens for nice people in this world :)

5 months ❤

Our sweet little guy is 5 months old today
-Happiest little guy ever
-finally getting his dark hair back and we can do mow-hawks again
-talking, laughing, and smiling all the time
-mommy is still his favorite person
-he will hardly ever stand up with help, he is such a chub so he will only do it sometimes
-close to rolling over, hopefully soon
-LOVES his brother, Brysen is finally playing with him all the time and it melts my heart
-sleeping from 8pm to 8am
-He has 2 naps during the day and 1 catnap at night
-He loves his rice cereal and we are starting veggies hopefully next week
-I wish I knew what this chubba weight is we go to the dr in a few weeks
-He is teething, and drooling, and biting everything he can get his little hands on
-still such an easy baby, he only ever gets mad if he is hungry or tired
-we stopped nursing and now he is drinking what I have stocked in the freezer
-He is starting to notice his feet
-He can sit for a few seconds or longer but we are always there to catch him
-Loves all of his toys, he has a frog in his car seat that he is always tugging and pulling on, its his fav
-Loves the TV, this kid always has his head tilted some odd way so he can see the TV no matter where he is, on the couch, laying under his baby einstein, eating, you name it he is trying to figure out where it is crazy kid, I think its all the color that he likes
I still some days can't believe we have 2 kids and that this little guy is here with us, such a sweet joy to have in our lives! We love you Cayden Nicholas ♥
