Easter weekend

We headed up to Utah for my Grandma and Grandpa Laughters annual Easter egg hunt! We stayed with my Grandma Abate! On Friday my Grandma took us down to Salt Lake and we went to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, the boys had so much fun, they loved all of the animals, and fish! Cayden would point and say "woooow" and never wanted to leave each animal or fish he was looking at! B of course loved it all and didn't want to leave, its a really cool aquarium but still under some construction and missing some of the animals, we can't wait to go back this summer and see it all finished! Saturday we headed to the annual Easter egg hunt and to visit with my grandparents, I have always loved going to the Easter egg hunt, they have done it my whole life and I love seeing my cute boys participate in a tradition I did growing up! We start out with the egg hunt for the little kids, then the older kids get to find the one big, boy and girl egg and whoever does gets a prize! Then we do the pinata which both of my children loved, then we have a lunch and chat with everyone who comes and man is that side of the family huge! Sunday we headed back and just hung out at my grandmas before hand, its always sad to leave and we wish we lived closer to all the family in Utah! I am so glad we were able to make it up for this one cause I have heard it could be the last Easter egg hunt since my grandparents are getting older, I know I will sure miss it and hope they we still have a few more to come!

18 months ♥ 4 years

Cayden turned 18 months on March 24th, it makes me so sad how fast my sweet little boy is growing up! This little boy is such a light in our lives, I am so thankful that I was blessed to be his mother!

-he weighs 24 pounds and his head is in the 88 percentile haha

-he has the funniest personality and is always doing funny things cause he knows he is hilarious 
-Loves our dog Indie and is so sweet with her
-Loves to just wander around and play outside
-we just took him swimming and he LOVES it
-he claps when he is excited for food or when he is proud of himself or someone else
-Could spend hours at the park
-He is obsessed with his tooth brush and balls
-Still loves his sleep and takes 2 naps a day and goes to bed at 7:30, doesn't wake up till 7 to 8
-This kid loves his food
-He is the happiest, smilest, most kind, sweetest little boy ever
-he will randomly give hugs and kisses to the people he loves
-He has started getting kind of feisty
We are so thankful and blessed to have this sweet guy in our life!

B my handsome boy turned 4 on March 27! Who ever said it was okay for this cute boy to grow up and get so big, I was going through pictures wondering where the past 4 years have gone, and how much this boy has grown and changed! He looks like such a big boy and is growing up to be so much fun! On his birthday we went out to dinner at Zupas, which he picked and he got nothing bundt cake and we sang and he opened his presents from us! He was so cute to watch on his birthday, he still tells me he wants to be 3 and not 4! We had a birthday party for him that Saturday, he wanted a Luigi party, my good friend made his cake and it turned out great, we had a piñata and some close friends and family come over for cake and ice cream! He had a blast and was so spoiled by friends and family!

-Loves to play outside, ride his bike and go to the park
-Not a huge fan of sunbeams yet
-He is such an amazing little swimmer, and could stay in the pool all day
-He loves to play games on phones and ipads and works them better then me
-He loves jake and the never land pirates, luigi from Mario bros, despicable me
-He loves to play basketball and is so good at that and any other sports he plays
-He weighs 35 pounds and is in the 97 percentile for his height, he is so dang tall
-this kid eats and snacks all day long and is so skinny
-dog lover, he loves our dog and wont ever leave her alone, anytime he sees a dog he needs to pet it
-He loves to play with Legos, and to color and he makes the cutest people ever
We are so blessed to have this cute boy in our lives and we love him to the moon and back!

 

We did some family pictures with Kyle's family a month ago, my father in law got sick so we will have to do more but we also got some 4 year old and 18 months of my boys which I love so much and my mother in law did some senior pics of Kyle's bros! Here are a few of the ones I love!

 

Presidents weekend

For President's Day weekend we went to Brian head with my Mom and Trent and the Christensen's! We had a blast, tubing, sledding, building snowman, snowball fights and just hanging out! I was really sick so I wasn't much fun, I went tubing and that pretty much killed me! Kyle and Stew built the most awesome sledding hill around the cabin and it kept the kids entertained for endless hours, it was so dang funny to watch them go down the hill, the crashes and all the fun the kids and men had haha! Brysen asks me almost everyday to go back, I swear Brian head is his most favorite place, whether it be in winter or summer, he would live there if he could! We love going up to Brian head, it's so beautiful and so relaxing and we especially love spending time with family! 

So for about two months in the Compton household someone was sick and it was mostly me, it started out with the two boys have colds and coughs, then I got sick and after two weeks went to the Dr and found out I had pneumonia in my left lung, after I started to feel better Cayden got bronchitis and a double ear infection and then a week later I got sick again and had a very severe ear infection! It was almost just as awful as pneumonia, my ear was clogged for like 4 weeks! After 7 weeks I was finally all better from everything and finally everyone has been healthy in my house! It was a good lesson for me to learn to appreciate being able to do all the little things in life cause I couldn't even hardly get out of bed! I am so thankful for my awesome hubby who took care of everything and did so much for me! I am so blessed!

Our last trip to Disneyland

In January we headed to Disneyland one last time with our passes with my family! We had such a great time, we left Wednesday and came home on Sunday! We did California adventure on Thursday and Disneyland Friday and then went to Oceanside the rest of the weekend and stayed at a beach house and went to the beach and just relaxed! It was so nice doing one park a day and riding and doing everything we wanted in each park instead of wasting time running around both parks! I wish we would have done that more times that we had gone! I love spending time with family and especially in Disneyland! Thanks mom for spoiling my boys so much in the parks and thanks christensens for letting us stay at the beach house! This was def one of my favorite trips to dland the whole time we had our passes! B wasn't feeling to great the whole time we were there but was still so good! My nephew Luke was so funny he loved all the big rides and snuck onto some! This was such a great trip and I love making all the memories with my family!

Christmas Time

II have been slacking on updating, I wish that I was better! I love Christmas time so much, it is my favorite time of the year, so of course we had to go to my favorite place on earth, my two favorite things combined into one Christmas and Disneyland! We went the first weekend in December and had so much fun! It is so magical and decorated amazingly beautiful at Christmas time! Lights are everywhere, some of the rides like Small World are completely changed for this time of year, all the characters have on Christmas outfits and the parade is so awesome! To say we had a good time would be an understatement! It rained off and on while we were there but it was still so fun and the boys are always so good when we go! 

December was a busy month and we did lots of fun things, we took our usual picture with Santa, we made gingerbread houses with my side of the family, we checked out the gardens at the bellagio, which is always so beautiful! We went to the speedway and saw it decorated with all the lights, decorated cookies for Santa, went to Ethel m cactus gardens, saw the Live nativity, which I can't believe that Cayden was baby Jesus for last year, and of course got Christmas eve pj's which has always been tradition in my family! The boys had a great Christmas and were very spoiled! Cayden wasn't really into the whole present thing he found his candy cane filled with m&m's and he was set! B was so cute I love the age he is at, he loved everything and was so much fun to watch him open all of his gifts from Santa! We spent the night at my moms on Christmas eve and hungout with my side of the family all day, the kids played ALL day long! I am always so sad when this time of the year comes to an end because it always seems to be such a fun and magical and exciting time of the year!
